The accommodation at Kuranda Resort has been crafted to engage naturally with the surrounding rainforest and these influences can be found throughout your many accommodation options.
The choices include a mix of options from the more conventional configurations to the more unusual. Those who are looking to prepare most of their meals themselves will be likely to prefer the apartment layouts while our more nimble guests may prefer canopy height sleeping in the loft chalets. However, due to the close proximity to the natural rainforest surrounds, be prepared for the native wildlife (geckos, insects and the like) to find shelter in your chalet.
Some parts of the resort and its accommodation are currently under renovation and off limits to guests.
Continental breakfast is also available at a rate of $15 per person per night. Please arrange with reception upon arrival if you would like to order.

The One Bedroom Loft Chalets are set amongst the rainforest. They feature timber floors with natural light filtering through cedar louvred windows. There is a queen size bed on the loft level and there are Egyptian style lounges,TV, mini fridge and coffee and tea making facilities and bathroom at ground level. Access to the loft bedroom is by ladder with hand rails. Loft chalets are more suited to our more agile guests.

The One Bedroom Chalets have a queen size bed on the ground floor with en suite bathroom. There is also an additional bunk bed accessed by ladder. These chalets feature timber floors with natural light filtering through cedar louvred windows, as well as TV, air-conditioning, mini fridge and coffee and tea making facilities.

These spacious One Bedroom Apartments are located at the front of the resort with a balcony to relax and unwind. They feature slate floors and woven ceilings. The casual atmosphere is further enhanced with Egyptian style lounges. Most of these apartments contain a full kitchen, are air-conditioned and the bedroom plan features a queen size bed and TV.

These Two Bedroom Loft Chalets are free standing chalets located in the rainforest and are suitable for a family of up to 4. Upstairs on the mezzanine floor is a loft bedroom with a king sized bed and downstairs on the ground floor is another bedroom with a queen sized bed. The bathroom, fridge, TV and coffee and tea making facilities are also on the lower level. There are Egyptian style day beds for lounging and relaxing.

These intimate Two Bedroom Spa Chalets are free standing chalets located in the rainforest suitable for a family of up to 4 or suitable for two lovers on a romantic getaway. On the mezzanine level is a loft bedroom with a king sized bed. The ground level lounge features a spa bath along with another bedroom with a queen sized bed, bathroom, fridge, TV, coffee and tea making facilities and air conditioning. The casual atmosphere is enhanced with Egyptian style day beds.
