THE VENUE BAR AND Restaurant

One of the highlights of Kuranda Resort is undoubtably our bar and restaurant, known as The Venue. As the name suggests, the bar and restaurant are designed to take full advantage of the tropical location with a seamless transition between outside and inside.

It is designed in a way that provides for intimate settings as well as being suitable for banquets and receptions.

The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner.

Conference Room

Kuranda Resort is a unique venue for your conference or workshop. We provide a range of services to facilitate and complement your function.

Tennis

We encourage you to make full use of all of the resort facilities. Although we are in the tropics, the mornings and evenings are cooler than the coast. Guests who pursue an active lifestyle will appreciate a game of tennis on the resort court in the grounds of the property.

Swimming

When it comes to swimming, you are spoilt for choice.

Our main pool, which has been designed to engage naturally with the environment, is cool and deep - 4 metres deep in fact. This is the ideal opportunity to practice your snorkelling for the Great Barrier Reef.

Other adjacent lagoon pools are perfect for toddlers and those who just want to splash around in the shallows.

Gymnasium

Resort style holidays should include a good helping of personal indulgence such as sleeping in, beautiful food and plenty of relaxation.

You still need to stay in shape though and here in the resort gym you will find a good selection of equipment to keep the kilos at bay and the torso trim.

Rainforest Walks

There are numerous rainforest walking tracks that can be accessed directly from Kuranda Resort. They include the Jumrum Creek Walk, the River Walk, the Jungle Walk, the Barron Falls Walk and a number of other natural sightseeing options.
